Workforce Diversity at IBM Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words

Workforce Diversity at IBM - Essay Example IBM had just executed Workforce decent variety as ahead of schedule as 1953 while this solitary turned into a prerequisite more than ten years after the fact under the Civil Rights Act of the US in 1964. This shows IBM has consistently been focused on executing workforce decent variety not at all like different firms who do it since it must be finished. IBM had just understood the significance of expanding the workforce for the firm so as to build profitability as well as to build their vital bit of leeway. The way that IBM had just grasped the possibility of workforce assorted variety as right on time as the 1950s is significant in contemplations that the globalization of exchange had not started. Globalization, which was extremely key in constraining associations into grasping working environment decent variety, just came a lot later during the 1980s and it is right now that most worldwide firms acknowledged they needed to broaden their workforce so as to guarantee that they are un iversally serious and that they can address the difficulties of a worldwide market (Strachan, French and Burgess 4). In such manner, IBM can be viewed as the pioneer of the standard of workforce decent variety. Taking a gander at the data gave about IBM workforce assorted variety in this area, it turns out to be certain that the individual is progressively evident that executing workforce decent variety ought not be driven by the governmental policy regarding minorities in society of the Civil Rights Act of the US in 1964. ... a cutting edge world, any firm, particularly those working in the worldwide condition ought to have the option to ensure that their work is as broadened however much as could reasonably be expected. A differentiated workforce isn't just bound to give the firm more developments but at the same time can address the issues of the assorted market. IBM was the first to understand that enhancing the workforce would assist the redesigns with being ready to be serious in a worldwide market. Truth be told, as indicated by Richard (477), present day associations are understanding that differentiating the workforce isn't the perfect activity, yet a necessity for the association so as to gain upper hand in the market. This presumably clarifies the motivation behind why IBM proceeded to get one of the best organizations on the planet. The other issue which comes out from the subject is the way that executing workforce assorted variety isn't a simple assignment and it is an errand which must be ta ken a gander at in an intense way. Firms ought to have the option to comprehend workforce assorted variety isn't just about employing people from all classifications of individuals, for example, from various races, various capacities and so on. Workforce decent variety anyway is having the option to search for abilities from varying backgrounds. IBM was the main firms to break the ice when isolation in the work environment was high. Numerous organizations misconstrue workforce assorted variety and execute it in the incorrect manner. In addition to the fact that firm misunderstand decent variety, yet additionally the enactments which have been made, for example, the Civil Rights Act of the US in 1964 have an inappropriate perspective on what assorted variety ought to be. Decent variety ought not be roused by giving the minority bunches an additional favorable position over the larger part. Equivalent open door business ought to be roused by the need to have all individuals of a wide range of

Have People Become Overly Dependent on Technology? Essay

Since we, as a general public, are grasping innovation without completely understanding the drawn out repercussions of this choice. We’re continually searching out momentary increases and enhancements without truly contemplating the entire picture for people in the future. PCs are extraordinary, don’t misunderstand me. They are awesome instruments that help many disentangle their life, get more data, and at long last, ideally improve, increasingly educated choices. These better educated choices ideally lead to better lives (for individuals) or better incomes and expanded benefits (for organizations). However, PCs are not generally the correct decision, in any event, when they seem to give an answer for a current issue. As an apparatus, a PC is a valuable guide. It has helped planners and specialists plan and give progressively solid, fascinating structures and structures. It permits us to part iotas, and order human genomes. It can remove mystery from business knowledge and item request bends. It even permits us to trade cash as bits and bytes rather than genuine paper cash evolving hands. Be that as it may, as an establishment for a significant enconomic column in our nation, I think we’re pushing the envelope of rational reasoning. There is nothing of the sort as an unhackable PC framework. There is nothing of the sort as an all day, every day/365 PC framework (regardless of what a few organizations guarantee). Also, until there is, placing the entirety of your eggs into an electronic future appears to be somewhat foolhardy to me. Envision a force blackout. You know, the benevolent we had only a couple of years back on our as far as anyone knows present day power matrix. The benevolent that isn’t expected to occur. The caring that brought a whole shoreline of our nation coming to a standstill. That’s fine, you state, those things are crack events, and happen once in for a little while. Like the California power outages of a couple of years prior. In any case, as our hunger for power increments, and our framework neglects to stay up with it (and it truly is not even close to staying up with it †it is far fetched the U. S. has enough hold power supplies without taking advantage of our neighbors from the north during top use periods). Presently, rather than simply going a couple of days without power, envision a whole society without power. Would it be able to occur? For a couple of days, sure. Yet, for half a month or much longer Who knows? The inquiry in my brain isn’t if something like this is conceivable, however essentially when. Presently, fifty years back, draftsmen and specialists could continue working, since they utilized their drafting sheets and chart paper to make the structures that hold us up. The NYSE could continue running utilizing classic paper and pencil, much the same as they did at that point. Residents could utilize money rather than charge or platinum cards to pay for merchandise and enterprises. The fact of the matter is, fifty years back, I figure society could without much of a stretch endure and beat a slip by in power in any event, for an extensive stretch of time. It was badly designed, yet the fundamentals of every day life (and the nuts and bolts of our economy! didn’t rely upon power being solid and plenteous. The entirety of that has changed. I speculate some new modelers wouldn’t realize how to plan a 50-story expanding on paper (without help of a CAD program), or a specialist who needed to analyze a patient without the dependence on requesting 10 or 15 lab tests. O r then again a legislator who couldn’t depend on moment surveying procedures. Or then again residents who needed to turn to perusing their news, rather than viewing in on TV. Or on the other hand a significant stock trade not having the option to work since generators were never intended to be utilized full-time, inconclusively. As an instrument, I think PCs are the cat’s howl. In any case, as this something more they’ve become, this incorporated segment that such huge numbers of individuals have gotten reliant upon, I am here and there somewhat stressed or concerned. We accept we live in a generally steady world, with basically unlimited supplies of characteristic assets. But that conviction isn’t grounded in all actuality †we live in a restricted asset world where, at some point (maybe in some of our’s future), a portion of those assets might just run out or lessen fundamentally. So it’s a basic condition: constrained future regular assets implies restricted supplies of power, the stuff that controls our cutting edge world. PS †Yes, I know, I know, let’s place our faith on sun powered or atomic, in light of the fact that they’ve demonstrated such a great amount of guarantee to date! Normally, a ton can change during my lifetime, however we’ve all been sitting tight for an achievement in vitality creation for quite a long time and none has come. Atomic was the last huge one with business acknowledgment, and that was grown over 50 years back! †¢Mankind has had devices since the start of written history and that is all innovation. We are an animal that can take care of issues by making physical arrangements and that is to some extent what makes us not the same as most creatures, however not all. Is vexing that we have such a large number of conditions on innovation and huge frameworks that we can not fix or re-make without any problem. †¢Yes, we are getting excessively subject to innovation. The greater part of us can’t spell accurately. Why? Spell checking programming. We have gotten languid. Why? Transport offices. Innovation isn't terrible in itself, yet we, the individuals of 21st century, are abusing it. We have got stationary and subsequently sicknesses which were obscure 200 years prior have currently got ordinary. †¢No, we are not as an animal varieties excessively subordinate upon innovation as it stands today. As we have made the devices which prompted innovation, we have additionally realized why it is they will and are important †our recollections bomb us, so we need a record to address us or to gain from or revamp; what is upon a PC isn't written in stone, it might be changed. This is a liquid perspective that was obscure to past ages; a consistently changing â€Å"evolution of thought†. It is over every one of the an unbiased instrument to speak with those of our own nation in with others, we need this in a world with a populace in regularly expanding billions. †¢People will consistently be required and needed for up close and personal association, yet where that is beyond the realm of imagination; innovation protects those binds and permits us to connect for additional assistant. Spelling and language are consistently evolving fields; it isn't obscure for the individuals of one nation to communicate in numerous dialects and still be residents conceived of that society †yet not have a typical tongue among them. Accents, even the words and slang can and will change inside less then an age. Innovation is permitting us to â€Å"keep up† with those changes, get them, and furthermore making new ones; additionally we are aware of catastrophes not long after they occur, if not as they occur; sparing existences of individuals simply like us; who while they probably won't have our way of life or language, are none the less human. While there are new illnesses, inquire as to whether they are genuinely â€Å"new† or something that past ages attempted to get by against and impart to free ourselves as well as other people of; and fizzled, in light of the fact that they didn't have the innovation we are growing currently to see how an ailment functions and how to free ourselves. Unquestionably †another explanation behind it is that individuals are utilizing it to express awful things with the goal that they don’t need to express it to the person’s face, as digital harassing for instance. †¢Yes for the most part, yet at the same time there are t he individuals who have extremely minor hints of innovation reliance. Regardless of we can see of the individuals in urban regions where innovation is the â€Å"life blood† of exceptionally living substance, some side of the nation †the provincial/remote regions, then again, have no or slight innovation ran lives. They despite everything live in a crudely where there are no PCs, cellphones, and so forth and where they work with uncovered hands and exposed feet. Innovation is currently rising, making our lives parcel all the more simple, however shouldn't something be said about the â€Å"behind the world†? †¢Yes! The one day our school power went out we could scarcely accomplish any work on the grounds that our Smartboard went out with the force. I mean even right now we are on the PC searching for answers as opposed to making sense of ourselves. So what happens when we come up short on coal and oil and so much stuff: no more innovation! We should manage without it. A few people will do flawlessly well without it. Others will lo ok til' the very end to discover another asset. Tragically the individuals who search til' the very end will have quite recently squandered as long as they can remember on something inconceivable. Perhaps in the event that somebody does it won’t keep going long. It’s just a single asset. In the event that somebody designs that I hearby prompt against it! Presently get off the PC and accomplish something without innovation! †¢First thing †is it electrical innovation you’re on about, or innovation all in all? We utilize general innovation all day, every day. We use results of that innovation every minute of every day. We likewise utilize electrical tech day in and day out. We have gotten dependant on it, yes. It has made us idiotic, apathetic, it has transformed us a ton. However, from a straightforward force cut, as with the thing over, that sort of thing ought not occur. That is over-dependance even by present day gauges, presumably. We have incorporated a wide range of innovation into each second of lives. Be that as it may, it’s not terrible. It’s simply the way some utilization it that’s terrible. Don’t realize how to spell due to spell-checking? Really awful, mate, that’s your flaw. Ought to figure out how to spell without it. I can spell without it. I can spell truly well without it. Why can’t you? (Not to state YOU can’t spell†¦ however who knows? ) The fundamental issue from it, however, is presumably sluggishness. Why walk when you can jump in the vehicle? Why play football, or rugby, or badminton outside when you can play Red Dead Redemption, or watch the Undead Nightmare story on Youtube? In any case, I play outside. Also, get a lot of time to play PS3 and watch stuff on Youtube. Furthermore, type stuff up on Wikianswers while I sho

Business Model Canvas Alternative Lean Plan Template If you have been thinking of starting a business, you have obviously heard and read about the importance of a business plan. While business plans are quite useful, that’s not to say they don’t have their problems. Business plans take too long to write, yet most of those you will share your business plan with probably won’t read it end to end.Updating your business plan regularly as your business grows is also quite difficult. For many entrepreneurs, the business plan is simply a document that they have to present to the bank or investors in order to secure funding. While writing a business plan is hectic, planning your business is still critical. Starting a business without planning out key activities is a recipe for failure. What if you had a way to capture the essence of your business in a simple, one page template instead of having to write and format a 10 page business plan?Fortunately, you can do that using a template known as the Business Model Canvas, which was developed by Alexander Osterwalder.WHAT IS THE BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS?The Business Model Canvas is a planning tool that allows business owners to make a graphic representation of the different variables involved in starting a business. It provides an easy way to visualize a business without having to worry about all the details that go into a business plan.A Business Model Canvas can also be used to analyze the current situation of an existing business. Below is an example of what the Business Model Canvas looks like. While the Business Model Canvas provides a quick and easy way of visualizing a business, it has one major flaw. It does not focus on the product/market fit. In other words, the Business Model Canvas does not care whether the business solves any real problem for its customers. Why is this so much of a problem?Think about the last time you went to buy something from the supermarket. What did you buy? More importantly, why did you buy it? My guess is that you did not buy whatever you did just because the supermarket had it in stock, or because you had some money to spend, or because you saw the product being advertised on TV. Instead, you bought it because you needed it, because it helped you solve a certain problem. For example, if you bought a set of batteries for your TV’s remote control, you bought them because you needed to use the remote control but could not because the batteries had run out. If you bought a refrigerator, you bought it because you needed to preserve food.If you b ought a lawn mower, you bought it because you need to mow your lawn. The point here is that each of your buying decisions is determined by a need or a problem. What the above tells us is that for any business to attract customers, it needs to solve a certain problem for the customer. It also needs to solve the problem in a unique way in that convinces customers to buy its products instead of available alternatives. Not only does the business need to solve a problem, it also needs a unique solution to the problem.Without that, the business is bound to fail.Unfortunately, the Business Model Canvas does not consider on this crucial aspect of a business. To ensure that this very important aspect of your business is not forgotten, the solution is to use another business planning tool known as the Lean Plan Template.WHAT IS THE LEAN PLAN TEMPLATE?Just like the Business Model Canvas, the Lean Plan Template is a simple tool that allows you to quickly and easily capture the essence of your bus iness. The major difference is that the Lean Plan template places more focus on the problem your business is trying to solve. The premise behind the Lean Plan Template is that it is impossible to create value and make your business model work without first understanding your customer’s problems.Once you know what your customers’ problems are, it becomes a lot easier to define solutions, come up with a unique value proposition, determine the sources of revenue, and so on.On the other hand, without a clear understanding of your customer’s problems, it becomes challenging to articulate some aspects of your business, such as the key resources, key activities, and key partners, all of which are part of the Business Model Canvas. Some of the elements that make the Lean Plan Template better suited to planning your business compared to the Business Model Canvas include:Problem:  The number one reason most businesses fail is that they set out to solve the wrong problem. According to CB I nsights, majority of business (42%) fail because they solve problems that are interesting rather than problems that serve a market need. This leads to building of the wrong product that customers are not interested in. By including a description of the problem, the Lean Plan Template ensures that entrepreneurs do not end up making this costly mistake.Solution: Apart from understanding customer problems, a business also needs to ensure that it is offering the best possible solution. By including this section, the Lean Plan Template ensures that the business is focused not on providing a solution the owners are obsessed with, but a solution that actually works.Competition: A business also needs to think about the other players offering solutions to its prospective customers. The aim of this section is not to discourage you from working towards your vision, but rather to encourage you to think about how to give your business a competitive edge. Without thinking about this, your busines s has no way of grabbing a portion of the market share from already existing players within the market.Milestones: Starting a business is a very chaotic undertaking. There are hundreds of things to be done. If you are not careful, you can easily end up devoting your time and effort to activities that do not move your business forward. To avoid this, you need to decide beforehand what important activities you need to undertake and the key metrics that you will use to evaluate your business’ performance. This helps you to stay on course and prevents you from chasing the wrong goals. As you can probably tell so far, the Lean Plan is designed to help entrepreneurs test their business. It is not meant for investors, customers or consultants. Still, the entrepreneur can use the Lean Plan template to engage with all these people and validate their business idea.ELEMENTS OF THE LEAN PLAN TEMPLATEThe Lean Plan Template is made up of 12 elements, which fall under 5 main segments.Brought toge ther, these 12 elements give the entrepreneur a comprehensive overview of the business and helps to ensure that the business has a product/market fit.Below is a quick overview of all the sections and elements that are included in the Lean Plan Template.1. StrategyThis section of the Lean Plan Template outlines gives an outline of your business and explains what the business intends to do. The strategy section is comprised of five key elements:Business Identity: This gives a one sentence overview of your business. Who are you? What does your business do? What value do you provide to your customers? You can think of this as your unique value proposition. For example, a content marketing agency’s might have their business identity as “Droidcontent helps businesses attract, nurture and convert leads through valuable, in-depth content that speaks and sells to your target customers.”Problem: This gives a brief description of the problem you are trying to solve for your customers. Go ing with our content marketing example from above, the problem can be stated as “Small businesses do not have enough manpower to exclusively dedicate to their content marketing efforts.”Solution: This is a brief explanation of how you are solving the problem you described above. Here, you will essentially give a description of your products and services. Our content marketing agency can have their solution as “Droidcontent offers monthly content packages. Business owners can focus on other aspects of their business knowing that we are handling all their content needs.”Target Market: Here, you should give a description of the customers your products and services are targeting. What is the size of the market? Are you targeting one or multiple segments within the market? Remember, the aim is not to conduct in-depth market research at this stage. You just want to get a rough idea of who your customers are and whether the size of the market is enough to sustain your business.Comp etition: Here, you should describe other business who are trying to solve the same problem as you. Don’t just think about businesses that are offering the offering the same products and services as you. Instead, think of any other alternatives that your customers might use instead of your products, even if they are not within the same industry. For instance, if your business is a hotel, you are in competition not only with other hotels, but also with individuals letting out their apartments and condos on Airbnb. In addition, you should also include a brief description of any factors that differentiate your business from your competitors.2. TacticsThis section describes the tactics you will use to implement your strategy. This section comprises four key elements:Sales channels: This should give a description of the channels you intend to sell your products and services. Are you going to open a brick and mortar store? Will you sell online? Or will you sell your products through a dis tributor? Explain the channels you are going to use to get the product to the market.Marketing Activities: Here, you should give a brief explanation of the key things you will do in order to reach your customers. Will you advertise online or through traditional mass media? Will you attend trade shows to promote your products? Will you hold a grand opening? Or will you partner with other businesses?Team: This should give a list of the key team members and their roles. This is important because your team can be the difference between success and failure. If there are some key roles that you intend to hire once the business is running, you should also list them here.Partners and resources: If your business needs to work with other businesses in order to be successful, you should list these businesses here. If your business needs any key resources, you should also list them here.3. Business ModelWithout money, you cannot claim to be in business. In this section, you need to describe how money will flow into and out of your business. This section has two key elements.Revenue: Here, you need to describe how your business will make money. The aim is to give you a general idea of revenue, so there is no need to come up with detailed financial forecasts at this stage. Simply write down a bulleted list of your primary revenue streams and you are good to go.Expenses: Here, list down the expenses you will incur when running your business. Once again, don’t be so concerned with detailed forecasts and numbers. You just want to make sure that you understand all the costs that will be associated with running your business.4. ScheduleThis is the last section of the Lean Plan Template. It contains only one key element:Milestones: This section contains a list of tasks, activities, responsibilities and key milestones that you need to undertake and achieve as you set out building your business. These include tasks like registering your business, getting licenses and permits wher e necessary, launching the business, and so on, as well as milestones such as getting the first 100 customers, reaching a certain number of app installs, hitting a certain revenue target, and so on.Now that you know all the elements that make up the Lean Plan Template, let’s take a look at a sample Lean Plan Template to see what it actually looks like.Business IdentityDroidcontent helps businesses attract, nurture and convert leads through valuable, in-depth content that speaks and sells to your target customers.ProblemSmall businesses do not have enough manpower to exclusively dedicate to their content marketing efforts.SolutionDroidcontent offers monthly content packages. For i nstance, instead of writing “content” as a problem, write “Small businesses do not have enough manpower to exclusively dedicate to their content marketing efforts.”In addition, after creating your Lean Plan, you should go through it and try to see whether it tells a complete story about your business. A great Lean Plan should tell a story about your business. For instance, using the content marketing agency example, here is the story from their Lean Plan.Droidcontent helps businesses attract, nurture and convert leads through valuable, in-depth content that speaks and sells to your target customers (identity). Our aim is to help small business owners with an online presence (target market) to create content even if they don’t have a dedicated content marketing department (problem) by providing monthly content packages, allowing them to focus wholly on running their business (solution). They will know about Droidcontent through email, social media, PPC marketing and organic search (marketing activities) and will buy the packages directly from our website (sales channels).  Our packages will offer a hands-free content marketing approach that will make our services stand out from those of other content marketing agencies, freelancers and content mills (competitors). We will charge our customers depending on their chosen package (revenue streams). We believe this will help to cover our payroll, web hosting and domain registration and marketing costs (expenses). We hope to start building the website in January 2019, launch the business in February and reach out to social media influencers in February (milestones). The business will be led by Andy, Peggy and Erick (team). Dylan and Kerr will help us with our marketing efforts (partners and resources). If your Lean Plan tells such a story, good job!TESTING YOUR IDEADeveloping a Lean Plan is only the first part of the work. Just because your Lean Plan is complete does not mean that you have a business that is ready to launch.Remember, the Lean Plan was only meant to help you come up with the main assumptions about your business idea. Before you launch the business, you need to validate these assumptions. This helps you reduce risk by confirming that your idea is viable. To test your assumptions, you need to go out and talk to your potential customers. Find out whether they actually have the problem you think they do, what they think of your potential solution to these problems, how much they are willing to pay for the solution, what alternatives they currently use, and so on.Talking to potential customers will also help you figure out the best way to market and sell to them. Don’t skip this step. Many businesses have failed because of launching before testing their idea.REVIEW YOUR RESULTS AND REFINE YOUR PLANTalking to potential customers as you test your idea might reveal some things you might have overlooked while coming up with your Lean Plan. For example, you might find out that whi le the potential customers have the problem you think they have, they do not prefer your potential solution. In this case, you might need to refine your Lean Plan in accordance with the preferences of your customers. The good thing here is that making revisions to your Lean Plan is a lot easier than making revisions to a detailed business plan. You can continue making more revisions to your Lean Plan as you learn more about your customers.WRAPPING UPThe Lean Plan Template is a great tool that allows you to quickly and easily capture the essence of your business. Unlike a business plan, the Lean Plan takes just a few minutes to write and is a lot easier to update. The Lean Plan allows you to flesh out all the important elements of your business in a single page that you can easily view and share. The Lean Plan is also much better than the Business Model Canvas because it places more focus on the problem you are trying to solve for your customers, which is a very critical aspect of ever y business. The Lean Plan helps you to easily test your business idea for viability before investing a lot of time, effort and money into the idea. The Lean Plan is a live document, which means that it should be constantly updated as you interact with your customers and learn more about them.

The Effects Of Stigma On Patients With Schizophrenia

The Impact of Stigma on Patients Diagnosed with Schizophrenia Randip Dhaliwal University of Calgary ACWR 303 March 21, 2015 Abstract The aim of this paper is to explore the various effects of stigma on individuals struggling with schizophrenia. The research discussed will account for the causes of stigma and potential solutions that should be set in place in order to reduce feelings of shame or humiliation among patients. Relevant journal articles were found through the use of PubMed and the studies analyzed were conducted among individuals who had previously received a diagnosis for schizophrenia. Thus, the research presented throughout this paper emphasizes the need for awareness among the general community about the causes and effects of stigma and its ability to remain persistent within society. Battle of Sullivans Island in the American Revolution

The Battle of Sullivans Island took place June 28, 1776 near Charleston, SC, and was one of the early campaigns of the American Revolution (1775-1783). Following the beginning of hostilities at Lexington and Concord in April 1775, public sentiment in Charleston began to turn against the British. Though a new royal governor, Lord William Campbell, arrived in June, he was forced to flee that fall after Charlestons Council of Safety commenced raising troops for the American cause and seized Fort Johnson. Additionally, Loyalists in the city increasingly found themselves under attack and their homes raided.      The British Plan To the north, the British, who were engaged in the Siege of Boston in late 1775, began seeking other opportunities to strike a blow against the rebelling colonies. Believing the interior of the American South to be friendlier territory with a large number of Loyalists who would fight for the crown, plans moved forward for Major General Henry Clinton to embark forces and sail for Cape Fear, NC. Arriving, he was to meet a force of predominantly Scottish Loyalists raised in North Carolina as well as troops coming from Ireland under Commodore Peter Parker and Major General Lord Charles Cornwallis. Sailing south from Boston with two companies on January 20, 1776, Clinton called at New York City where he had difficulty obtaining provisions. In a failure of operational security, Clintons forces made no effort to hide their ultimate destination. To the east, Parker and Cornwallis endeavored to embark around 2,000 men on 30 transports. Departing Cork on February 13, the convoy encountered severe storms five days into the voyage. Scattered and damaged, Parkers ships continued their crossing individually and in small groups.   Reaching Cape Fear on March 12, Clinton found that Parkers squadron had been delayed and that the Loyalist forces had been defeated at Moores Creek Bridge on February 27. In the fighting, Brigadier General Donald MacDonalds Loyalists had been beaten by American forces led by Colonel James Moore. Loitering in the area, Clinton met the first of Parkers ships on April 18. The remainder straggled in later that month and in early May after enduring a rough crossing. Armies Commanders Americans Major General Charles LeeColonel William Moultrie435 men at Fort Sullivan, 6,000 around Charleston British Major General Henry ClintonCommodore Peter Parker2,200 infantry Next Steps Determining that Cape Fear would be a poor base of operations, Parker and Clinton commenced assessing their options and scouting the coast. After learning that the defenses at Charleston were incomplete and being lobbied by Campbell, the two officers elected to plan an attack with the goal of capturing the city and establishing a major base in South Carolina. Raising anchor, the combined squadron departed Cape Fear on May 30. Preparations at Charleston With the beginning of the conflict, the president of the South Carolina General Assembly, John Rutledge, called for the creation of five regiments of infantry and one of artillery. Numbering around 2,000 men, this force was augmented by the arrival of 1,900 Continental troops and 2,700 militia. Assessing the water approaches to Charleston, it was decided to construct a fort on Sullivans Island. A strategic location, ships entering the harbor were required to pass by the southern part of the island to avoid shoals and sandbars. Vessels that succeeded in breaching the defenses at Sullivans Island would then encounter Fort Johnson. The task of building Fort Sullivan was given to Colonel William Moultrie and the 2nd South Carolina Regiment. Commencing work in March 1776, they constructed 16-ft. thick, sand-filled walls which were faced with palmetto logs. Work moved slowly and by June only the seaward walls, mounting 31 guns, were complete with the remainder of the fort protected by a timber palisade. To aid in the defense, the Continental Congress dispatched Major General Charles Lee to take command. Arriving, Lee was dissatisfied with the state of the fort and recommended that it be abandoned. Interceding, Rutledge directed Moultrie to obey [Lee] in everything, except in leaving Fort Sullivan. The British Plan Parkers fleet reached Charleston on June 1 and over the next week began crossing the bar and anchoring around Five Fathom Hole. Scouting the area, Clinton decided to land on nearby Long Island. Located just north of Sullivans Island, he thought his men would be able wade across Breach Inlet to assault the fort. Assessing the incomplete Fort Sullivan, Parker believed that his force, consisting of the two 50-gun ships HMS Bristol and HMS Experiment, six frigates, and the bomb vessel HMS Thunderer, would easily be able to reduce its walls. The Battle of Sullivans Island Responding to the British maneuvers, Lee began reinforcing positions around Charleston and directed troops to entrench along the northern shore of Sullivans Island. On June 17, part of Clintons force attempted to wade across Breach Inlet and found it too deep to proceed. Thwarted, he began planning to make the crossing using longboats in concert with Parkers naval attack. After several days of poor weather, Parker moved forward on the morning on June 28. In position by 10:00 AM, he ordered the bomb vessel Thunderer to fire from extreme range while he closed on the fort with Bristol (50 guns), Experiment (50), Active (28), and Solebay (28). Coming under British fire, forts soft palmetto log walls absorbed the incoming cannon balls rather than splintering. Short on gunpowder, Moultrie directed his men in a deliberate, well-aimed fire against the British ships. As the battle progressed, Thunderer was forced to break off as its mortars had become dismounted. With the bombardment underway, Clinton began moving across Breach Inlet. Nearing the shore, his men came under heavy fire from American troops led by Colonel William Thomson. Unable to safely land, Clinton ordered a retreat to Long Island. Around noon, Parker directed the frigates Syren (28), Sphinx (20), and Actaeon (28) to circle to the south and assume a position from which they could flank Fort Sullivans batteries. Shortly after beginning this movement, all three grounded on an uncharted sandbar with the latter twos rigging becoming entangled. While Syren and Sphinx were able to be refloated, Actaeon remained stuck. Rejoining Parkers force, the two frigates added their weight to the attack. In the course of the bombardment, the forts flagstaff was severed causing the flag to fall. Jumping over the forts ramparts, Sergeant William Jasper retrieved the flag and jury-rigged a new flagpole from a sponge staff. In the fort, Moultrie instructed his gunners to focus their fire on Bristol and Experiment. Pummeling the British ships, they caused great damage to their rigging and lightly wounded Parker. As the afternoon passed, the forts fire slackened as ammunition ran low. This crisis was averted when Lee dispatched more from the mainland. Firing continued until 9:00 PM with Parkers ships unable to reduce the fort. With darkness falling, the British withdrew. Aftermath In the Battle of Sullivans Island, British forces sustained 220 killed and wounded. Unable to free Actaeon, British forces returned the next day and burned the stricken frigate. Moultries losses in the fighting were 12 killed and 25 wounded. Regrouping, Clinton and Parker remained in the area until late July before sailing north to aid in General Sir William Howes campaign against New York City. The victory at Sullivans Island saved Charleston and, along with the Declaration of Independence a few days later, provided a much needed boost to American morale. For the next few years, the war remained focused in the north until British forces returned to Charleston in 1780. In the resulting Siege of Charleston, British forces captured the city and held it until the end of the war.

The bribery that has been made to the officials of both the nation was aimed to win over the contacts of business. Workplace safety Two employees of IBM has claimed that the company has intentionally exposed them to detrimental and toxic chemical that has happened to cause them fall sick and the company had concealed such information from them. However, IBM has disagreed regarding this matter in court and alleged that the causation has happened due to the preference of employees lifestyle such as smoking and drinking (com 2017). The above issues are completely unethical in nature and it is of vital significance that such issues need to be identified prior to any damage cause to the organisation. Thereby, identification of such key issues is crucial concerning the damages it may cause to the organisations social reputation as well as on image for that matter. Ethical issues affect on the firms international business operation In context to the ethical issue of anti-trust and monopoly, the business conduct on such practices leads to a drastic decline in the efficiency level of its business operations. The business conduct of IBM identified to be very rigid and of monopolistic nature, that creates a sense of conflict and negativity within the mind-sets of employees. It is crucial that the code of conduct must be of ethical in nature and comprise of moral values and social wellness (Tai and Chuang 2014). Supposedly, if the conduct of business is of low ethics and does not include any sort of effectiveness, then it may lead to a massive decline in the organisational effectiveness. Concerning such aspect, it can be referred to as Consequentialist ethics that are based on the actions of the firm or proceedings of the business primarily. Such ethics are been determined by the consequences that it faces from the actions that it displays predominantly (Ferrell and Fraedrich 2015). Besides that, the scenario of bribery that has been made by IBM to win the contracts has created a negative effect on both the sides of firms social reputation as well as on the nations corruption level. Bribery has been considered as a serious crime in almost every nation and has been issued by the national security commissions (Paik, Lee and Pak 2017). In such case, if IBM has been indulged in such illegal affairs then it has flaunted a serious crime of tampering the national policy by involving and inducing such prohibited crime proactively. In addition, it has also incurred a heavy loss on the social reputation as well as on the image that it has on the global prospect (Shaw and Barry 2015). The code of conduct has not been well followed by the top executives of IBM and which had lead to face such consequences negatively. Concerning to the workplace safety issue, the claim of firms employees in terms of exposure to harmful chemicals that has made them fall sick has formed a negative perspective into the mind-sets of every employees working in different locations around the world (Crane and Matten 2016). The employees of IBM from other locations has viewed such scenario as matter of low ethics and claimed it as an inappropriate treatment of employees. This in turn has made the firm to face low-productivity, resignations and a substantial decline in work commitment for that matter. The business operation has come down drastically and which lead the organisation to encounter with several challenges (Grace and Cohen 2015). Firms effort in resolving the issues and its effectiveness IBM has put considerable effort in resolving the issues that has caused tremendous damage in its global business operations as well as on its social reputation. The firm has applied some of the strategic approaches that assisted to resolve such issues effectively. IBM has initiated several corporate social responsibilities with an intention to provide wellness to the society that the firm primarily operate in. The company has endorsed some effective as well as efficient proceedings that have made the organisation to settle down such ethical issues optimistically. Although, the proceedings were complex yet it has assisted proficiently. This approach has assisted the firm to uplift the social reputation and image that has been dropped down by the ethical issues that it had faced (Michalos 2017). Firstly, IBM has bestowed $50 million to the grant commissions in order to assist build smarter cities and renovate more than 100 cities around the globe with substantial energy efficiency. Secondly, approximately 3,00,000 of IBM employees has engaged in Centennial Celebration of Service that outcome in 3.5 million hours of service focused predominantly on the society. Thirdly, IBM has set out several high-potential teams to different countries around the world with the purpose of enhancing the communities to create a smarter planet around the world (Ibm.com 2017).Thereby, the approaches of IBM has been effective and proficient in bridging the gap between community and corporate in terms of elevating the repute. The actions of the firm are been effective enough as it covers every issues that has declined the firms operation and thus created a new possibility to enhance its business. In addition, it is a tacit fact providing such service and contribution for the wellness of community is viewed positively by the public as well by the government; thus, generates possibilities to re-position the firms repute effectively (Nam and Weaver 2015). Alternative actions that would have undertaken to address the issues Concerning to the above actions, there are some alternative actions that would assist in resolving the issues positively. In respect to the ethical issues of the firm, there would be requirement of advancing the code of conduct more rigid and ethical based. Besides that, there is necessity to educate the employees regarding the ethical values and its importance. It is to believe that educating or informing an individual concerning the values and importance would create a mind-set of positivity. In addition, the upshot of any unethical actions is against the regulations of society, which has to be adhering at all times by the employees of all levels. Business conduct is the key aspect of ensuring efficiency; hence, the proceedings need to be enhanced based on the economic and community demands. Conclusion This is to conclude that the ethical issues within an organisation can hamper the international business operations tremendously and which requires effective approaches to resolve such issues positively. It has been understood that necessity of compliance with the code of conduct and business ethics is of utmost importance and require extensive advancements. An organisation must follow an effectual business ethics that are enriched with moral values, which would help to cater reflection of positivity to the entire community around the globe. On the other hand, an organisation must recognise both the results of compliance and defiance of business ethics within the organisation for that matter. Thereby, it has been identified and well perceived that issues in international business is complex in nature and entail an effective approach to reconcile such issue to bring back the position positively. Manifest Destiny Essays (709 words) - MexicoUnited States Relations

Manifest Destiny MANIFEST DESTINY Manifest Destiny took place in the US in the mid-1800. Manifest Destiny was used among the Americans in the 1840s as a defense for U.S. territorial expansion. It is the presumption that God had destined the American people to at divine mission of American movement and conquest in the name of Christianity and democracy. In order to understand manifest destiny we must first find its origin. John OSullivan first initiated manifest destiny into America in 1845. This New York editor wrote the phrase that captured this mood when he attempted to explain Americans thirst for westward expansion he wrote: the fulfillment of our manifest destiny to overspread the continent allotted by Providence for the free development of our yearly expanding millions. There are two components that make up manifest destiny. One is the religious influence and the other is the need and desire for westward expansion. Manifest Destiny was based on the ideal that Americans had the divine right from God to expand its borders with no limit on area or country. For some it was the will of God for the expansionist to spread throughout the country to control and populate the country as they see fit. It did not matter to the expansionist if people such as the Indians were living on that particular piece of land. The expansionist just saw it as they were doing Gods work. The expansionist pushed many Native Americans to also move westward to escape conflict with these so-called followers of Gods will. Some Native Americans did not just turn their heads and allow the expansionist to take the land that so righteously belonged to them. The Native Americans did fight back on some occasions however the Native Americans could not withhold any longer and subsided to the Americans control. The expansionist forced many of the Native Americans on reservations as they continued to move westward to dominate what the ex pansionist thought was theirs to dominate. While some were driven on what they believe was Gods will others saw Manifest Destiny as the historical inevitability domination of North America from sea to sea. Before, manifest destiny, many Americans had small families not by choice, but for the mere fact that many of the people would die before they would reach forty. By the mid 1800s technology began to rise, and the life span for many Americans increased. The U.S. population grew from more than 5 million in 1800 to more than 23 million by the mid century. By the increasing of families in town many of the towns became overcrowded. At this point many Americans looked to the west for possible permanent homes. To others Americas manifest destiny was s looked west for economic gain. The land westward-represented wealth, income, self-sufficiency, and freedom. No one really knew what laid west to them, but many of these people were very adventurerous and took the journey west. By the 1840s expansion westward was at its highest. Many Americans traveled the Santa Fe Trail or the Oregon Trail. Many merchant-traders who took manufactured good from Santa Fe to exchange for furs and other items available there used the Santa Fe Trail. William Becknell, a Missouri trader, first discovered the trail. He opened the Santa Fe trial as a commercial route between what was then the western reaches of the United States and New Mexico. For other adventurers the Oregon Trail seemed to be their source of travel. In 1845 approximately 5,000 traveled the Oregon Trail to Oregons Willamette Valley. The Oregon Trail was the longest pioneer trail that went west. It was a long travel that was approximately 2,00 miles. Many people died on the way, but the thirst for wealth over exceeded the rate of survival. The Santa Fe Trail and The Oregon Trail contributed to many Americans outlook on the westward expansion. Manifest Destiny was a very historic event that was responsible for making America grow. It helped bring about new inventions such as the wagon in 1831. It also helped open paths for the railroad. Because of manifest destiny Americas driven right for expansion and exploration will never die. History

Types Of Budgeting Example

Types Of Budgeting Example Types Of Budgeting – Coursework Example Types of Budgeting Types of Budgeting One significant difference between rational and incremental budgeting models is the comparative level of difficulty. The rational budgeting model is a lengthier, more costly procedure although it offers businesses more alternatives in terms of working in manifold areas with little financial resources (Cropf, 2008). On the other hand, the incremental budgeting model is suitable for little change since the most recent budget and there are extra financial resources to spend. New business objectives, episodes of financial difficulty, and creative approaches are hard to put up using the incremental budgeting model. One advantage of the rational budgeting model is savings, whereby every agency and task financed can account for every dollar spent easily (Cropf, 2008). A disadvantage of rational budgeting is possible, lengthy bureaucratic procedures that can be overwhelming. Rational budgeting models are used often by public agencies and involve complex protocols where even the agencies themselves are not certain they will be financed at all. An advantage of the incremental budgeting model is stability. Incremental budgeting is a stable procedure where the project’s individual share of the entire budget will not increase or decrease drastically (Cropf, 2008). A disadvantage of incremental budgeting is unnecessary funding. Since this model serves to stabilize sections or elements of a project, incremental budgeting processes end up financing these elements simply because they were underfunded in the past. As a result, efficiency is not a factor. An improvement I would make to the rational budgeting model is to reduce political processes and increase the involvement of special groups that decide the parts of a project worth financing (Cropf, 2008). For the incremental budgeting model, I would allow agencies or sections of a project to account for their previous uses of budget in order to determine the current or future allocat ions.ReferencesCropf, R. The Plutonium Experiment Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

The Plutonium Experiment - Essay Example The metal in contention is a silvery-white, artificially created, radioactive element and has a melting point of 641 C, so much higher than water and it undergoes five changes between room temperature and melting point and has 6 different physical forms. It's produced when bombarded by neutrons and is a source of energy in reactors and in nuclear explosions. The hapless victims of these experiments are injected with plutonium remaining nameless people referred to only by code numbers until Welsome's efforts uncovered the incident and brought it to the world's attention. One can't help but wonder "who these people were, what happened to them after they left the hospital with the silvery, radioactive metal circulating in their veins - if they ever left at all." This poisoning procedure however left a few loopholes that triggered further investigation into the experiment and cover-ups and denials from the government became a constant in Welsome's research. In choosing the above quote, i t shows how it taps into our humanity and asks the basic question of how far could one go to pursue a question unanswered. The human side appeals to all as all humans have the instinct to survive, prolong and preserve human life.

Analysis of Red Hat Linux Operating System Research Paper

Analysis of Red Hat Linux Operating System - Research Paper Example Among other innovations, such as the Anaconda graphical installer and the firewall configuration tool Lokkit, Red Hat is an established name in the open source operating system market space. This may be due, in part, to its appealing graphical interface for users and the accessibility of its programmer interface, which is intelligently presented. By reviewing this interface, as well as some advantages and disadvantages of the operating system, why exactly Red Hat is a respected name in Linux circles may become clearer. Red Hat is ostensibly based on the design principles of simplicity, robustness, and security (Cunningham & Cunningham, 2007). Simplicity refers to simple abstractions and simple components, which leads to faster and more efficient use of hardware resources. Red Hat exemplifies this characteristic by focusing on a simple desktop for users to customize. Robustness refers to the ability of a system to resist failure after the addition of a new feature or component. When a system is multiprogramming, it is ideal if the system does not fail because it cannot adequately distribute resources to handle the increased load. Red Hat, because it has been developed and re-released over nine versions, is incredibly robust in handling large memory loads. Lastly, Red Hat is based on a secure design, which means Red Hat has extended Linux’s reputation as a secure environment, primarily by buffering overflows integrated in the standard software stack, smartcard authentication support, and SELinux security. The Red Hat Linux desktop consists of GNOME and KDE, which offer a wide range of features. The KDE desktop for Red Hat (in Figure 1), features a main menu icon at the lower left, which is a red hat. The desktop includes a number of files and folders, depending on what software is installed on the user’s computer. KDE is very similar to the standard Microsoft Windows format for the central desktop, particularly in how the standard option places the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, with a main menu button at the lower left, and desktop icons arranged vertically along the left side of the desktop. KDE uses a file management and web browser called Konqueror, which is a standard setting in Red Hat installations. Lastly, the KDE Control Center window allows for additional customization of the operating system for the user. In contrast, the GNOME desktop for Red Hat Linux (in Figure 2) is slightly different from KDE (McCarty, 2004). The principal dissimilarity is GNOME’s use of Nautilus, which like Konqueror, is the default file manager and browser. Another notable difference is GNOME’s use of a drawer, which is a clickable icon that leads to links to other launchers. GNOME also features a â€Å"Start Here† facility that allows for other kinds of configurations, including changes to peripheral devices, default applications, themes, GNOME’s appearance, and so on. A Red Hat Linux user is given a choice between the KDE and GNOME desktop interfaces. Beyond the basics of Red Hat’s desktop and user interface, however, one finds a rich array of tools for a programmer to manipulate and control his or her machine. The Unix shell in Red Hat, like an MS-DOS window, allows the user to execute commands. Again, beyond the desktop and point-and-click interface, the Linux shell is actually more sophisticated. The major elements of the programmer interface

Java Multithreaded Genetic Algorithm In Solving Computer Science Essay

Java Multithreaded Genetic Algorithm In Solving Computer Science Essay Time table problem is a kind of scheduling problems with many variations. It defines a class of hard-to-solve constrained optimization problems of combinatorial nature (Bhaduri, 2009, p.289). Constraints are the rules that control the schedule process and it not necessarily be satisfied but for certain constraints, it may be inviolable for the problem. Based on the constrains, sometime the scheduling problem may also facing the problem that it only be to obtain a feasible solution but all feasible solution have equal cost. Furthermore, the time table problem (TTP) also is an NP-hard problem and by conventional methods, it is very hard to solve (Even cited in Verma, 2012, p.919).The timetable problem can be of few kinds. E.g. for the transportation purpose, educational institutes, or a hospital roster for nurses. This project is considers a time table in educational, especially for the case of a School (Sapru et al, 2010, p.1). In recent years, interest in meta-heuristic approaches such as simulated annealing, tabu search and genetic algorithms (for school timetabling) has increased due to the ability of these approaches to generate solutions to solving TTP. (Schaerf, 1999, pp.87-127 and Burke et al, 2002, pp.266-280). Solving the real world school timetable problem manually often need a lot of time and resources. In order to handle the problem, many researches in this area has been invested over the year, the automated school timetabling is one of the part or idea in this area for those researches. It is a task that can save a lot of man-hours work. However it is difficult tasks faced by educational institutions. For example, it involves the allocation and distribution of resources to different tasks subjected to different constraints (Verma, 2012, p.919). Those are including of teachers, rooms, classes at a fixed number of available time slots and subjects. The constraints in School Time Table problem are: Certain room (computer lab, music room) cannot have more than one class in a given time slot. No class can have more than one subject in a given time slot. The number of classes per week is a fixed number for each subject, and this number must be met by the prepared schedule. Genetic algorithm (GA) have been used for solving timetable problem since 1990(Bhaduri cited in Bhaduri, 2009, p.289). The GA has global optimization strategy which can avoid falling into local optimum and it also is one kind of the iterative adaptive heuristic probabilistic searching algorithm (Yunfeng Dong, 2011, p.3703). besides that , GA also is the widespread algorithm for the timetable problem(TTP).The main reason for widespread of GA uses are GA do not require a continuous data set or objective function; they also require no gradient or other information (Sapru et al., 2010, p.2). In this project, we attempt to compare the results in time table solving based on the GA with java multithreaded and the GA without java multithreaded. An objective of this study is to prove that java multithreaded optimize the GA in solving school time table problem. Literature Review Genetic algorithm (GA) Li et.al. (2010, p.21) using the genetic algorithm to solve the university test timetable problem, from the experiment result show that the genetic algorithm able to get the optimal solution. However, the examination place is not in a big situation, so it only can guarantee obtains the overall situation optimal solution in the two number random situation. Yunfeng Dong et.al. (2011, p.3705) describe a new algorithm for scheduling system, it is genetic search algorithm . Traditional genetic algorithm has shortcomings of early convergence and variation problem . Genetic search algorithm is an algorithm that makes the improvement based on the genetic algorithm merit . It use partially matched crossover to solve the early convergence problem and the Tabu search algorithm concept instead of using mutation operator to solve the variation problem. A test for solving school time tabling between genetic algorithm, simulated annealing and genetic search algorithm, can be found in the paper .From the test, the time complexity of genetic search algorithm is the most optimal, compare to other .However, the test is only set the population size is 50 and genetic generation is 50 .The next experiment in the paper for the genetic search algorithm also can find out that more genetic generation, consuming more time for the genetic search algorithm . Whil e the genetic generation is increasing , the result is not so optimal compare to the performance in test. In Sheung et.al. (1993, p.448) , a comparison between the results produced by the GA-based (Genetic Algorithm) and the SA-based (Simulated Annealing) time table optimizer was found. From the result (figure 5) , find that the SA-based time table optimizer is better than GA-based time table optimizer , that is because the comparison only until generation is 50.But from the figure 6 , can find that the convergence curve of GA looks more stable and smooth for the larger population. Sheung et.al. (1993, p.448)- figure 5 Sheung et.al. (1993, p.448)- figure 6 Project Scope and Objectives In the title of the project, we find that this project is solving the school timetable problem based on the genetic algorithm (GA) with java multithreaded. By using java multithreaded, it will solve the problem of the speed of generate school timetable based on GA. The speed will faster than the GA without using java multithreaded. 3.1 Project Scope The scope of this project is the systems that generating the school timetable by the GA with java multithreaded and the GA without java multithreaded. The following details will describe the functions that both timetabling system will perform. The systems should be able to generate timetable for students and teachers. The systems should be able to let the students and teachers view their timetable online at anytime. The systems should be able to let teachers to check availability of the lab and book the lab online at any time. The systems should be able to let the officer in charged to add, modify, and delete teachers detail at any time. The systems should be able to provide a user friendly interface for users to use it. The system should be able to provide a simple and nice timetable interface for users to view. 3.2 Project Objectives Based on the project scope, the projects objectives are the proposed idea are: Main Objective Enhance the genetic algorithm (GA) in solving the school timetable problem by using multithreaded programming. The system will apply GA concept into the time tabling procedures to get the result and using the multithreaded programming to increase the speed of generate time table schedule. Sub-Objective To optimize the use of time. The time of generate the school timetable will be decrease. To save workload of the officer in changed and teacher. The system will perform time tabling automatically rather than the officer need to manually schedule the timetable. The system able to let teachers to check availability of the class room and book the class room online. 3.3 Conclusion The system able fully utilize processors to using genetic algorithms (GA) generate the time table schedule faster without changing the concept of GA .That is the innovation of this project compare with other. Methods/Technologies Involved 4.1 Methods GENETIC ALGORITHM (GA) Genetic algorithm (GA) is an optimization and search technique based on the principles of genetics and natural selection.GA uses the concept of genetic recombination of parent chromosomes for traits sharing among their offspring, mutation to bring change among the offspring and survival of the fittest for the population to evolve [17,18]. In this project, the system apply GA concept into the time tabling procedures to get the result (time table schedule). MULTITHREADED PROGRAMMING Sometimes a lightweight process refers by a thread; multithreaded programming allows multiple threads to exist within the context of a single process. These threads execute independently but share the same processà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ resources. So, multithreaded program able to operate faster, if that computer system for the program has multiple CPUs or CPUs with multi cores. Java multithreaded is one of the multithreaded programming. The advantages of java multithreaded are given below: Processors are fully utilized. Threads share the same address space. Context-switching between threads is normally inexpensive. Not have as much OS overhead. In this project, the system using the multithreaded programming to increase the speed of generate time table schedule. 4.2 Technologies Involved Notebook (Window) with multi core: writing Java Language and running the system Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE): Developing time tabling system 4.3 Project Methodology The development method that will use for this project is incremental development, because the functions will be implementing in order the rank of according to ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s important in the project and release the latest version from time-to-time until the final version.
